Timothy McGrath is Founder and CEO of Affinity Risk. With more than 30 years in insurance and insurance distribution, he leads the business across all verticals and stays closely involved in the decisions that shape strategy, growth, and execution. He is an accomplished entrepreneur and strategic leader with a track record of developing and scaling insurance distribution platforms through new products, new channels, and high-impact partnerships.
Previously, Tim founded Lighthouse Risk Solutions and built the company from the ground up β introducing innovative products and distribution channels for the AAA Western Region and driving more than $100M in annual premium growth within four years. Lighthouse was ultimately acquired by a strategic partner. Earlier in his career, Tim held leadership roles at Arthur J. Gallagher and Willis, including building Gallagher's Risk Management practice in San Francisco and later leading turnaround initiatives at Willis. He was also a founding Partner at Alvarez & Marsal's Insurance Advisory Practice.
Bill McCloy is Chief Strategy Officer at Affinity Risk, helping drive company-wide expansion
through strategic partnerships and new program launches. He led the launch of Affinity Riskβs
statewide Tow Program, expanding the companyβs capabilities and partner value proposition.
Previously, Bill founded Origin8, a direct-to-consumer life insurance company built to
modernize the customer experience through technology and innovative distribution. Before that,
he served as Head of America for Rocketer, a MarTech advertiser focused on financial services.
Earlier in his career, Bill built deep expertise in investment and risk management as a sell-side
corporate credit trader on Wall Street.
Bill brings a practical approach to strategy, pairing partnerships with disciplined execution.
Keegan Kenfield is the Chief Operating Officer at Affinity Risk, leading execution across
technology and operations as the company continues its growth. He brings over a decade of
leadership experience across insurance and banking, spanning both startups and established
organizations.
Keegan has led technology-enabled initiatives that modernize how insurance is sold and
serviced, including API development and digital sales platforms. He is known for building
scalable operating models and accountable teams, with a steady focus on regulatory discipline,
execution, and service quality.
Devin McGrath is Vice President of Finance and Strategy at Affinity Risk, leading financial
planning and strategic growth initiatives across the company. He brings a background in
corporate strategy and operations consulting for Fortune 500 companies, with deep
expertise in structuring complex ventures, driving profitability, and translating strategy
into execution.
Devin is known for pairing analytical discipline with an entrepreneurial approach,
building the financial frameworks and operational plans that allow Affinity's programs to
scale and perform
Katelyn McGrath is Director of Partnerships at Affinity Risk. Over the past three years, she has
been a core leader in building the company from inception, helping establish the operational,
licensing, compliance, and technology foundation that supports enterprise partnerships and
multi-state expansion. She has also supported key company milestones, including acquisition and
capital raise efforts, by strengthening internal infrastructure and operational readiness.
In her role, Katelyn leads enterprise partnership implementation and manages Affinityβs client
relationships, driving successful program launches and long-term partner performance. She
oversees core functions including licensing and compliance, CRM infrastructure, and marketing
execution. She is known for turning strategy into repeatable execution, building the structure and
processes that help partnerships scale and perform over time
Bob Flaherty is a Strategic Advisor to Affinity Risk and brings a distinguished 40-year career from FM Global. Over his tenure, he led high-performing sales teams and drove revenue growth and market expansion across multiple regions, including meaningful market share gains while managing sales operations in Australia and New Zealand. Bob is known for the strength of the relationships he has built over decades in the industry, and he leverages that network to identify high-potential partners and introduce Affinity Risk to significant opportunities.
Andy Hughes is President of Mobility at Affinity Risk, leading national strategy and innovation across automotive and mobility risk services. A former AAA federation executive with more than 30 years of experience, he has driven major transformations in fleet operations, logistics, and member experience at both the club and national levels. Most recently, Hughes served as Chief Innovation Officer and Senior Vice President of Automotive Services and Member Experience at AAA Hoosier Motor Club, where he directed enterprise technology deployments that doubled business line revenue and elevated member satisfaction to among the highest in the AAA network.
Kathleen Boothe is Manager of Brokerage at Affinity Risk, bringing 30 years of commercial insurance experience across both the carrier and agency sides of the business. That dual background gives her a well-rounded, strategic perspective on risk management and client service, spanning the full lifecycle of underwriting, placement, and claims. Her experience across personal lines, commercial insurance, and life and health allows her to anticipate challenges, negotiate effectively, and design comprehensive coverage solutions tailored to each client's unique needs. Previously, Kathleen was an Account Manager and spent over 10 years overseeing accounts for the Cormack-Routhier Agency.
Doryn Gremillion is Senior Accountant at Affinity Risk, a San Diegoβbased licensed CPA with seven years of corporate accounting experience spanning financial operations, reporting, and process improvement. She plays a key role in managing core financial workflows, supporting leadership initiatives, and building scalable systems that improve accuracy, transparency, and operational efficiency. Doryn is known for her strong analytical approach, problem-solving mindset, and ability to bring clarity and structure to complex workstreams.
Brian Hapney is a Senior Account Executive at Affinity Risk and a seasoned commercial insurance professional with deep specialization in towing and transportation risks, including repossession and commercial auto exposures. Drawing on years of program and brokerage experience, he has built and serviced multi-million-dollar books of business focused on towing operations, transportation fleets, and related garage and commercial coverages. Brian is known for structuring insurance solutions for complex risks, working closely with underwriters and MGAs, and helping clients navigate claims, compliance, and loss control. He brings an operational mindset to every account, ensuring coverage is built around the clientβs operations and risk profile.
